Certain colours bring out passion. Especially when seen in flowers.The scent and texture can also effect us that way. Let nature inspire you.

CHANGE

Changes in life do come and there is no way to stop them. The only way is to go through them and enjoy the colours they display. They are meant to enrich our lives, bring us comfort and teach us new things while developing the character we need. We can go kicking and screaming, or let them change us and enjoy the ride.

BE STRONG!

Don't compare what you are doing to that of those around you. Don't look at others and question what you are doing by their standards. Stand tall and do what you know is right for you!

What do YOU see?

In this life there are many ways of communication. Of course, there is language, written and spoken, but the arts give us many more ways through dance, acting, painting, photography, signs, objects of beauty or function. It goes on and on as each generation creates more. And each generation, group, culture, and religion puts their own meaning to what has been communicated. Has your generation or the society you grew up in affected your way of thinking? Life is always speaking to us through many challenges that come our way. What do YOU see? What do YOU hear? Sometimes the things we think we should avoid are the things that will bring healing. Things aren't always the way they appear!

Growing Pains

Isn't it funny that everything in this world goes through stages of growth that don't always match the mature? The new growth on this blue spruce sure does not match the rest of the tree, even though it is so pretty! Babies are cute in any species- including humans! But don't forget those teen years- awkward! But as you get older, learning new tricks can be that too- awkward!! We must not forget that certain stages don't always predict the outcome, and if we keep going, we will see that it is worth it.

If you are different than the majority, then you are placed on this Earth to challenge those who think that everything should stay the same. It's like standing at the gate. Those who accept you are allowed to go through and see the treasures in your garden and fellowship with those who are like spirited as you. Those who reject you may never know the treasures they are missing and the lessons they need to learn.

Bridges

A tree died and fell across a river. All the debris and mess it caused formed a bridge to the other side.

Life is full of bridges. Failures and losses in life are like fallen trees. They can form bridges to new ways and places of hope. In time, debris from the stream of life can pile up against that bridge, making it difficult to get across. Things you can't deal with, things you don't want to face. The longer you wait, the greater the pile of things that can push against the bridge, cover it up and eventually bring it down. These bridges aren't just for you to cross over but can allow our loved ones, people we know and even people we don't know to cross over as well.We must always look to the good and listen to our hearts to see the way to the other side. Everything in life can be used. Just don't let the debris pile up on the bridge you are building before you get yourself safely to the other side. New things are waiting there to be discovered! Your getting across will show the way to many others!

Who are we- really?

Society tells us from birth who and what we are supposed to be. None of us can measure up to that standard.We are made to feel that we have to look a certain way and have to possess a certain amount of wealth to be accepted and happy. The things we are told we need do much of the time distract us from our spiritual side and purpose in life. Who are we, really? Maybe we need to look to the manufacturer. We are powerful beyond our dreams. We have the power to love, to forgive, to create.If we loose our way, we can start again with love.
